The official column of the W4F.

Welcome to the very first edition of Within The Rage, the W4F's insider column, that brings you all the news and rumors of the World Wide Web Wrestling Federation. Let's skip the formalities and get right to the news and rumors.

  • The K.o.A. reigns in fan poll and merchandise sales-What can you say about this crazy group? At a recent fan poll, fans were asked who'd they love to party with. The K.o.A. got first place with Lance Strong and Hostess Avenger tied for second. This is also evident in merchandise sales, K.o.A. and Kumquat Kid t-shirts are selling well beyond expectations. The best part is, despite this, the K.o.A. is still the same group of fun loving guys and robots who are compassionate about entertaining, and modest about their achievements.

  • Lance Strong #1 Contendership has its share of critics-On the very first Monday Night Rage, Lance Strong, after having a hellious battle with The Lost Soul was named the #1 Contender to the Rage Title, so whomever becomes the champion at Fate's Calling will have to face Lance for the title soon after. This decision by President Sommers has come with some offens from some W4F superstars, one of which, obviously is The Lost Soul.

  • Lazarus a Lazabust?-Remember that guy who brought the PWA Hardcore division to new heights? Remember that guy who left the PWA due to "politics"? That was the same guy who led IV and the SWA factions. Corey Lazarus, is the man this journalist is referring to, but he isn't the same guy now. Lazarus hasn't spoken a word in the W$F and officials as well as fans are beginning to wonder if he was even worth signing. My advice, either pay your dues in the W4F Lazarus, or don't let the door hit you on the way out. It just bothers me when I see places like the W4F that have opened and closed too many times because wrestlers don't give back to the promotions that spend money on them. It would be a shame not to see Lazarus in main event matches in the W4F, because he has a strong fan following, and he is a talented athlete, but if his attitude is "I don't need the W4F," he's in for a rude awakening. Sommers will tell him, "No Lazarus, the W4F doesn't need you.

  • Enter The Duck!-Psychoduck, the current Undisputed Champion and former UW World Champion has made his way to the W4F. In typical Duck fashion, he hasn't made any friends either, basically calling everyone on the roster a bitch. Not a wise move if you ask me, but I guess when you hang out with a girl who wears ivy leaves for an outfit you can say those things. Just kidding, seriously Duck is one of the best the AOWF has right now, though critics believe he has become rather egotistical as of late. He is definitely fun to watch, and is innovative in and out of the ring. He has definitely been busy, as The Machine and Lance Strong are just two names that are on Psychoduck's list.

  • Anyone speak like Kajun?-W4F officials actually want yours truly to sit down with this guy sometime in the future and ask him some questions. Do I really want to? Will the guy want me to meet him in a swamp? I don't own any boots like he wears. I also don't speak his language, whatever the hell it is. I'll make sure to schedule a time with him, say 2025?

  • Rage Title Tourney heats up-With the first round in the books, the semi-finals of the Rage Tournament feature four exciting athletes looking to make it to the finals. The Kumquat Kid, who as mentioned, is getting a strong fan following, goes up against the big, bad, veteran Project X. Will The Kumquat Kid continue his giant killing ways, or will Goliath finally squash the W4F's David? The Lost Soul takes on Ryan McCade, who has been silent as of late. The Lost Soul is looking to show the W4F what a real champion is made of. Both of these matches should be exciting.

    Rumors

  • Word on the street is there is someone gunning for President Sommers. Sommers has made quite a few enemies in his career, and this foe claims to shake the W4F to its very core, possibly shaking it right out of Sommer's hands.

  • The AOWF Community execs may be discussing appointing a commissioner to help with the W4F, to get it off the ground, considering its past failed attempts.

  • The W4F might be looking into some free agents and past superstars of the AOWF Community.

  • Psychoduck and Sommers are both on the mind of a current JWA superstar.

  • What has Raizzor been up to since his brother's departure from the PWA? Rumors say he might be signing with the W4F or a renegade promotion to run his brother out of business!

  • The M.o.A. will be celebrating at NoA, and one has to wonder if the M.o.A. will have its effect on the AOWF Community once again. Could a current W4F superstar be the powder keg that leads to a M.o.A. invasion in the W4F?

  • When will VP Oswald become The Man and step into the ring? One superstar has been rumored to have said some derogatory comments towards Oswald.

Well that's it for me. Join me next time as we preview Fate's Calling. Don't forget that the Candid Chronicles for this month will feature Angel and our very own XTC! Until next time this is Kevin Candid saying, can somebody find me a Cajun dictionary?
